Drive-over fender trailers are a type of body protection that mounts on the front and/or rear of a vehicle. They usually consist of an extruded aluminum or steel frame that is raised off the ground and covers the entire width of the car’s wheelbase. The purpose is to reduce damage from debris kicked up by traffic driving over it, as well as providing some level of light armor to protect occupants in case something hits them from behind. These are mostly used in places with heavy traffic.
